The 2010 FIFA World Cup, the biggest football tournament in the world, is scheduled to take place from June 11 to July 11 2010 in South Africa, the first time it has ever been held on the African continent.
More than 200 teams battled it out to become one of the final 32 entering the draw in Cape Town on December 4th.
The best Goals and Star players from all the qualifying teams have been collected together in a stunning collection of DVDs, entitled Destination South Africa, to be released exclusively by PIAS Visuals in March 2010.

The slogan of the tournament; ‘Expect Emotions' certainly delivered on its promise with game after game of non-stop action and breathtaking goals. Who can forget Croatia's heart breaking defeat by Turkey in the quarter final penalty shoot-out or Turkey's last minute exit at the hands of Germany following their brave campaign? Russia's excellent performances surprised and impressed many culminating in an awesome display that left Holland's European dreams in tatters.
As the tournament reached a climax on Sunday 29th June, two teams were left to battle it out at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna for the biggest prize in European football. Germany, perhaps not a surprising finalist and Spain, reaching this stage for the first time in over 20 years. A fantastic match followed filled with passion and drama with both teams struggling to gain dominance, perhaps fittingly for such a final it was decided by a sublime strike from Fernando Torres, who gave Spain their second European Championships and their first trophy in 44 years.

The greatest players of Europe from 16 qualifying teams came together in Switzerland and Austria in June to compete in Europe's biggest tournament, the UEFA EURO 2008TM!
The tournament kicked-off on Saturday 7th June in Basel, Switzerland. Czech player Václav Svěrkoš was the first to score a goal at the UEFA EURO 2008TM in the opening game against host Switzerland.
Fantastic offensive football, nail-biting penalty shoot-outs and amazing goals throughout the competition made the tournament one of the most exciting European Championships ever!
The competition featured a total of 77 goals and an average of 2.48 goals per match. David Villa, winner of the Golden Boot, scored a hat trick for UEFA EURO 2008TM champions Spain, who scored a total of 12 in the tournament.

The Story of The UEFA European ChampionshipsTM
‘The Story of the UEFA European Football Championships' charts the history of the tournament. It chronicles the birth of the Championships, and provides action from all the championships from 1960 to the present day.
It all started back in 1960 when Frenchman Henri Delaunay had the idea for a football competition for the European continent. The first tournament was held in his home country and saw 4 teams' battle it out in the finals.
